Discovery Day at Letcombe Valley Nature Reserve, Saturday 1st August 2026, 1-4pm – We will be present at this event to show some examples of creatures living in the brook.  There’ll also be a river-based game and many other interesting stalls and activities such as:  nature crafts, den-building, mud kitchens, mammals, fossils, moths etc.  Entry is free, but donations will be welcome/requested for some activities, eg build a bird box.  Some refreshments will be available, but feel free to bring a picnic.  OS map reference:  SU 378 862.  Parking available at the Letcombe Regis Village Hall.  Dogs accepted when on a lead.
